The Ground Zero Flag

This 60' X 30', 92 lb. American Flag was donated to a group of Ground Zero volunteers from New York during the rescue and recovery operations after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. They unfurled it on a building overlooking the site, and for over two months, it helped give all who were there the strength and courage to continue the task before them.

"And our flag...we caught our breath, and uncovered our heads, and couldn't speak, for a moment, for the thought of what it was to us and the great ideals it stood for." - Mark Twain
